Frutas Esther, S.A. is a company that is dedicated to the cultivation and marketing of stone fruit, grapes and strawberries where agreement, improvement and quality are more than only words, it is our way of working.

We have achieved our position in the agricultural sector, at home and abroad through hard work and vision by various generations. This would not have been possible without a clearly professional way of thinking, development, growth and correct management connected to the village where the company once was found Abarán, a mentality of entrepreneurs in which working contributes every day to our existence.

New coldstorage installations of the latest generation that do not pollute and us less energy.

Frutas Esther in its commitment with the environment and corporate sustainability, changes its refrigeration installations to a new one of the latest generation that does not pollute and uses less energy.

We now use a coolant in our cooling system called NH3 fully associated with the environment, this liquid does not damage the ozone layer and does not cause global warming.

Our new facility also meet 100% to the Montreal Convention, the international treaty designed to protect the ozone layer and to which 196 countries belong. The agreement is to take precautions in an equitable way global emissions of substances to control the way in which significant ozone depletion can change in a way harmful to health and the environment with the aim to eliminate these resources.

So far we used in part of our cooling the cooling gas R22 (HCFC 22) Hydro Carbonate Fluor, whose pure form from January 1, 2010 will be prohibited to import, produce, sell and / or use. The latter according to the EU regelement (CE) No 2037/2000 of the European Parliament and European Council of June 29, 2000 on substances that deplete the ozone layer. The use of reclaimed R22 will be allowed until 2015.

The effect of this gas HCFC22 on the ozone layer is more than 10,000 times greater than CO2, the main cause of the greenhouse effect.
